Kia ora and welcome to the Waikato Show 2018, the show with "Something for Everyone"
The Waikato Show is proud to be able to offer you this uniquely Community Show on a site holding great significance for both the Waikato Winter Show Association and local iwi, in Hamilton's premiere expo facility, Claudelands Events Centre.
As always, our primary focus is on education and awareness, and to that end we have continued to develop our relationships with community parteners, both new and existing. Within these walls you will find expos focused on youth, business, animals, clubs, health, environment, antiques, alpacas, a vibrant Cultural Village, community performances, emergency services, rides, ecperiences, opportunities, and all the gamut of possibilities in between. Things for children, parents, young people, older people, everyone who makes up the special community that is the Waikato.
This show has brought together people from all over the social, economic and cultural background of our region; literally hundreds of volunteers have put in tens of thousands of hours over the last year to bring you Waikato Show 2017: thank-you all for your attendance. Explore and enjoy the Show, ask your questions, try new things, thrill to old favourites, and don't forget to tell all your friends.

The Clubs & Creativity Showcase offers a unique opportunity to explore the hugely diverse range of recreational activities, and service clubs available in the Waikato, all in one handy space, with real people to talk to, allowing you to form a valuable firsthand impression of the organisations you are interested in.

The Wellbeing Waikato Show is located just after the popular and interactive Clubs & Creativities Showcase, to create a continuous attractive exhibition space in this hall.
Around 200 alpaca will come under the judges scrutiny in a new competition for both the Waikato Show and the region’s alpaca breeders. The new competition is where classes are defined by age with a supreme awarded in each colour group. There will be many supremes on offer over six colours with exhibitors/competitors coming from Christchurch, Auckland, Hawkes Bay, Whangarei, Warkworth, Bay of Plenty, Levin, Taumaranui as well as local Waikato people.
The Animal Expo will showcase a wide variety of pet-related stalls - breeders, manufacturers, importers, nutrition, grooming, day-care, entertainment and vets.
The Cultural Village offers the unique opportunity to appreciate the numerous flavours and diverse cultures of the world. It will showcase authentic offerings from the 160 plus ethnic communities now settled in Waikato. We invite you to celebrate the multicultural diversity of our region by enjoying the food stalls, crafts stalls and live performances of traditional arts presented at the Cultural Village.
